''Thy Kingdom Come'': My Life in God's Kingdom, Nicholas Fuerst
1 Nicholas Fuerst ''Thy Kingdom Come'': My Life in God's Kingdom
RoseDog Books May 2011 1434984354 / 9781434984357 Soft Cover Collectible - Like New Signed By Author
Signed and inscribed by Author. No marks or writing observed in the text. Appears unread . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . The production of this book was primarily motivated by the author's evolving experiences of the mysteries surrounding the existence of and his belief in God. Its contents elucidate the author's contention that one cannot claim to believe in God unless he concedes that God has become the central focus of his life. As such, God-believers have the duty and priority to share that awareness with others in the hope and confidence that life in God's earthly kingdom will eventually lead to life in His heavenly kingdom-both for one's self as well as with others. The discovery of the continuity between the two realms of His kingdom-the seen and the unseen, heaven and earth, time and eternity-provides a most liberating and fulfilling way to live here and now.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Trappist Abbey 1961 B0015DONZY Soft Cover Used - Good
No marks or writing observed in text. Binding tight and square. Gently read. Private owners shelf number taped to spine and stamp on inside ffep. . . . . . . . . . . . Our Lady of Guadalupe Trappist Abbey is a monastery in a rural area of the U.S. state of Oregon. The monks are members of the Order of Cistercians of the Strict Observance, commonly called the Trappists. It is located in Yamhill County north of Lafayette about 30 miles (48 km) southwest of Portland. Currently the Abbey is home to about 28 monks. The monks live communally in the abbey. Their day is balanced by prayer, work, reading, and contemplation. The Abbey is located on 1,300 acres (530 ha) of forestland in low hills of the western Willamette Valley. The forest adds to the spiritual setting for the community, acts as a buffer to neighbors, and allows for cloistered retreat. It is also the basis for a sustainable forestry enterprise that provides income to the monks. Other income-generating enterprises include a book bindery, a wine warehouse for local wineries, and a fruitcake bakery.
